Who will be staffing my child's party or special celebration?


A certified literacy teacher, youth exercise specialist, and mom who is dedicated to providing active, enriching, and meaningful activities for the child host and his/her guests to enjoy on the big day! We can't wait to meet and work with your family!




Do you only book events inside of Austin City Limits?


No! We love to bring the party to surrounding communities outside of Austin, too! We require a small, roundtrip travel fee for events located outside of Austin.




Is set-up and clean-up part of the 90 minute party duration time?


Nope! Set-up and clean-up is not included in the 90 minute timeframe. We request access to the home or party venue at least 45 minutes before the start time, so that we can set up. The kids will get a solid 90 minutes of Spunky play and activities!




Do we get to keep everything that comes with the party package?


Yes! Unless otherwise noted, the purchasing client will get to keep all party activities, games, decorations, etc.




What if I need to cancel or reschedule once I'm booked and have made the deposit?

I don't see the theme my child wants. Can we request a theme?


Yes! We will do our best to accommodate theme requests if you're flexible and willing to work with us!




I need something in-between packages. What do I order?

Party & Event Delivery

I need something in-between packages. What do I order?


We can easily create a personalized package for you on a per quote basis!




Who will deliver our party supplies on the day of my reservation, and how long will it take?


A certified teacher, youth exercise specialist and mom (Spunky Kids Owner) who is dedicated to providing active, enriching, and meaningful activities to the host child and his/her guests! Expect about 30 minutes for the delivery. Need help setting up the party to make the day even more stress-free? We can also help with that--please inquire!




Do you only book events inside of Austin City Limits?


No! We will deliver party goods outside of Austin to surrounding communities, too! We charge a small, roundtrip travel fee. Please inquire.




Do we get to keep everything that is delivered with our party package?


Yes! Unless otherwise noted, the purchaser may keep everything to enjoy for future play!

Weddings and Special Events

Do you provide activities for child guests and child care for local weddings and special events?


Yes, both! We offer child care for small parties of children at your selected venue, and activity/crafting tables for larger groups of children. Please find the Wedding Activities and Child Care page to see all activity offerings.




Can you provide a service for my wedding/special event that will be held outside of Austin?


Yes! We charge a small, roundtrip travel fee for events located outside of Austin, but love providing childcare services for metro Austin brides and grooms!




My reception will last late into the evening. How late can I use your services?


We charge a flat rate for hours leading up to midnight (depending on the number of children), and an additional charge for hours thereafter. Please inquire about specifics.





Child Care

How many children can be registered for child care during my weddings or special event?


We offer child care for small parties of children, dependent upon age and needs. Please visit the "Wedding Activities and Child Care" Page on our site and inquire to Carly Ferguson at spunkykidsaustin@gmail.com for specifics.




Do you offer child care services for families visiting Austin?


Yes! Enjoy all of the great adult activities that Austin has to offer--child-free! We will come to your temporary place of residence (family/friend's home, hotel, Airbnb, etc.) with themed activities, crafts, games, music, and more! You get to pick the theme! You can request a child care reservation for your visit to Austin on the "Request a Service Online" page.




Do you offer child care services for parents needing an "Austin Staycation?"


Yes! We can provide Austinite parents a little serenity and come to your home or temporary residence (hotel, Airbnb, etc.) Child care comes with themed crafts, activities, games, music, and more! You pick the theme! Please note that we make reservations for a minimum of 4 hours.




What are your child care rates?


Our rates for themed child care is 20/hr for up to three children. The service comes with an energetic caregiver, themed crafts, activities, games, books, music, snacks, and more! Please inquire about reservations for more than 3 kiddos.




How do I register my child(ren)?


We conveniently have an online form that can be filled out and mailed and/or scanned and emailed in advance of your child care reservation. Please note that we require a unique form to be filled out for each child.




If I'm a bride or groom having child care provided at my wedding, how do I register each child?


The parent/guardian of each child must fill out the form prior to the child care service at your wedding/special event. We would be happy to email those out for you and take care of communications, provided with the parent email addresses and contact information. We'd be glad to take something off your never ending, prewedding to-do list!





Requesting a Service

Do we have to request a service/book through your website, or is there another way?


No! We can also work with you via email. Please send your detailed party/event/child care request to spunkykidsaustin.com




How do I know if I'm granted my request for my date and time?


You'll receive an automated email thanking you for your service request, and at that time, we will be checking our calendars! You'll know you've been granted the request once you are contacted by Carly Ferguson via email and/or phone. At that time, you can then go ahead and hold your reservation by placing the required deposit.




Once I'm booked, will I receive a contractual agreement?


Yes, you will receive a digital contractual agreement in the event you have booked: - A facilitated chidren's party/event - Children's crafting/activity tables for a wedding or special event. We do not issue contracts for child care services.





Cancellation/Rescheduling Policy for ALL Services

What if I have to cancel my reservation once I've paid the deposit?


In the event the client cancels for any reason, we regret that the deposit will be forfeit.




What if I have to reschedule the date and/or time of my reservation once I've paid the deposit?


In the event the client must reschedule the reservation for any reason for an alternative date and/or time after the deposit has been made, we will work with the client to reschedule services for an alternative date and/or time. However, it is not guaranteed or assumed that we will be able to reschedule. If a mutually agreed upon date and time is set, a 20% gratuity charge will be added on to the payment of balance due to potenial loss of revenue.





Making a Deposit

How does the deposit process work in order to hold my reservation?


For all Spunky Kid's services, a NONREFUNDABLE deposit of half of the total price is due in order to hold your reservation for your date and time. The preferred method of payment is PayPal, however, cash or check is accepted. Please inquire about payment via cash or check.




When and how do I pay the remaining payment of balance? Are there late fees?


The client will pay the remaining balance via PayPal, cash or check at the time of, or before the agreed upon start time of the event. We regret that we cannot accept personal checks if the payment of balance is late. Please note that 15% gratuity will be added to the balance for late payments and/or bounced checks.
