Frequently Asked Questions
Spunky Kids will travel to the venue of your choosing! If the event is at your home, please plan for an ample amount of outdoor space for the number of guests. In case of inclement weather, please plan for an open indoor space free of furniture and other play hazards. There is a $15 travel charge for parties outside of Austin City Limits.
Parties are designed for up to 12 children (including host child). A $25 dollar charge will be added for each additional child to account for additional party supplies and activities. Please be aware that you will be charged for the additional children at the time of the party over the headcount on the original invoice. I will contact you a week before the celebration to confirm the exact headcount!
Payments, Deposits, and Booking
In order to hold your reservation, a deposit of half of the full invoice price is required. The remaining balance is due at least one week before the event. Payments are preferred through PayPal, but I also accept cash, check, or Venmo. 15% gratuity will be added for late payments or bounced checks. Please plan to book at least four weeks in advance to provide ample time for ordering from vendors.
Ordering , Payment & Shipping
For the ordering process, please note that I will work with you if you would like to see product samples via digital portfolio. Once you have contacted me regarding your desired package and/or add-ons, you will receive an official invoice containing an itemized list for you to review. The balance of the desired package is due in full in order to be processed. Please inquire whether or not sales tax will apply to your order. PayPal is the preferred method of payment, but personal checks and Venmo is also accepted. Please be aware that there is a $25.00 fee for bounced checks. You will be notified via email when your box has been shipped! Shipping is free for local deliveries within Austin City Limits and will arrive within approximately 2 weeks. Please plan to order/submit payment at least 3 weeks before the party to allow time for payment processing and assembly of your birthday bin. Out of state? In the event a client must cancel for any reason, the deposit will be forfeit. In the event a client must reschedule the services after the deposit has been made, we will work with the client to reschedule services for an alternative date and/or time. However, it is not guaranteed or assumed we will be available to reschedule. If a mutually agreed upon date and time is set, a 20% gratuity charge will be added on to the payment of balance due to the loss of potentially scheduled events. Safety and Liability
Safety is a priority, and all activities and games are of low to moderate intensity. Spunky Kids uses precautions to make every activity as safe as possible. Children will play at their own risk, and Spunky Kids is not responsible for any injuries aquired while playing.
